Nothing has come close to it up until this point

I have to say I was lucky enough to binge watch The Bureau a few years ago and to be honest it’s probably one of the best things I’ve ever watched. There’s a connection between the two shows, obviously there’s been talk of it being "influenced" by it, but tbh I wasn’t expecting a similar story. Don’t get me wrong, the show has been amazing so far, great cast, good cinematography, but this wasn’t anything I hadn’t seen in the French version.

You won’t regret it

It’s too early to tell what it’s going to be like, but I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t watched The Bureau to watch it. After Fassbender played a professional assassin in David Fincher’s The Killer and saw him in the cast, I knew right away that he was a great choice for the role. These types of shows really require a certain amount of concentration while watching, so you can keep up with all the characters in the story and the little details about them.

You wouldn’t watch this while you’re cycling on an indoor bike

Some people would find them slow-paced and even boring, but I think it’s the characters and the complex personal battles and the slow build-up of tension that make them great. You either love these types of shows or you don’t, there’s no middle ground.
