Two sisters from the twin cities of Piltover and Zaun fight on opposing sides in a war of magical technology and conflicting beliefs during the rift between them. After the release of the first season, Riot announced that there would be a second season and that it would take less time to produce. The animation is absolutely superb
Arcane follows two young orphaned sisters who grow up and get into trouble in the dual cities of Zaun and Piltover. The series is based on the video game League of Legends, and while it drops you right into this fictional world, it takes time and attention to create the locations and characters in a commendable show-and-tell fashion. The solid character development and world-building mean that this is a thoroughly enjoyable watch without knowing anything about the game. As an anime fan, I found the animation in Arcane to be smoother than anything I’ve ever seen from an animated series.
There’s incredible attention to detail
It’s clear that no artistic talent or monetary expense was spared in bringing the world of Runeterra to life. A great soundtrack, great acting, and a compelling story that pulls no punches when it comes to violence and more for adults. themes. Only the first three episodes have been released so far, and I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us!.
